Assignment: Outer Space

The feature directorial debut of cult Italian filmmaker Antonio Margheriti (Cannibal Apocalypse, Wild Wild Planet). In the 22nd century, Ray Peterson — reporter for the Interplanetary News — is assigned to write a story aboard a space station. Tension mounts with the base commander, but when a rogue spacecraft enters the solar system on a collision course with Earth, Peterson may be the only one who can stop it. A classic slice of Italian science fiction from 1960. Starring Rik Van Nutter — Felix Leiter in Thunderball. Free with ads.
