Alpine Zoos and You

Rated 8.8/10 on IMDb. The Big Bear Alpine Zoo in California is one of only two high-elevation Alpine zoos in the United States — and this moving family documentary goes behind the scenes to show what it actually takes to run one. Part wildlife sanctuary, part rehabilitation center, the zoo cares for native California animals that can no longer survive in the wild. An inspiring, warmly observed portrait of the people who dedicate their lives to the animals in their care. Free with ads.
